In most cases, the process begins with a free, informal consultation with you, ideally at your home or place in which the intended piece of furniture will live. During our visit, we discuss your requirements (purpose of the piece, dimensions, surroundings, personal taste etc) and any ideas you may have by way of design preferences, choice of wood and finish to be used, as well as budget parameters and a timescale for us to work to.
Back at our studio, we will then work on design ideas, with costings and timeframes for each, and return to you with drawings and wood samples for your feedback and comments. Once the design and materials have been agreed, we ask for a deposit to secure a place in our schedule, with the balance payable upon completion and delivery. We very much welcome a visit to our workshop for you to view the work in progress and share in the pleasure of seeing your piece evolve, and we always personally deliver (and install, where appropriate) your furniture to you. Our commitment to service is of equal importance to us as our commitment to making beautiful furniture and, at every stage in the process, we aim to surpass your expectations.
